A walkthrough of the rules

  1. Enter five letters.
  2. Green marks the correct position; gold marks an available copy elsewhere.
  3. Grey means no matching unused copy.
  4. Use the feedback to solve.

Making selections and moves

Type a guess and press Check guess or Enter. Read a button’s label before selecting it. Look at the feedback after the action.

An example to follow

An answer containing one E can award only one positive E mark in a guess containing two. Apply the same reasoning to the position in your own round. Check the stated objective.

An important reminder

Repeated letters do not imply unlimited copies in the answer. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. Keep the stated aim separate from side details such as animation or appearance. Progress is measured by the game’s own completion or scoring rules.
