Know the goal in Yukon Solitaire
Open Yukon Solitaire, check the instructions and begin a round. Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Keep the game area visible while you use its controls. Read the objective before making your first input. Look at what changes after your first action.
One deck, no stock, Yukon deal. Free solo play, no wagering.
A small practice goal
Compare the worked example with your own position. Use the reasoning, not an answer copied from a different board. Make the next step deliberately.
What you are aiming for
Build four suit foundations from ace to king. Keep that objective in view throughout the round. Review the board or playing area as it changes.
How to proceed
- Build down in alternating colours. Any face-up card carries all cards below it, even when unordered. Kings fill empty columns.
- Select a face-up card and then the destination pile or Empty slot.
- Use foundations where available; full Spider or Scorpion runs clear automatically.
- Undo reverses a choice. New deal shuffles again.
Making selections and moves
Click or tap cards and piles. Wide tableaus scroll inside the game; use Undo, Hint and New deal where shown. A careful first action helps you become familiar with the layout. Return to the rules if the result is unexpected.
One way to understand the rules
A red 6 carrying an unordered tail can move onto a black 7. Your next round may have a different position, so inspect it before acting. Verify the rule before continuing.
A common point of confusion
Random deals are not guaranteed solvable. A hint is a legal move, not a winning strategy. Take a moment to reassess the position before continuing. After a move, check what changed. Decide which rule explains the new state before acting again.
